[HOW?] Higher virtual screen resolution than the real with cropping in X11 for RasPi?
I would like to use the RasPi with a higher virtual resolution on a smaller composite video resolution also (not with VNC!). But I can't set it.
Could you help me find the correct configuration settings for it?
The RasPi hasn't /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
(I have an old Eee PC which can use the 1024x800 resolution on the 1024x600 screen with cropping , and I can see the all screen if I move the mouse cursor over the frame, where the screen is shifted to the hidden area. More: http://goo.gl/hm3nY)
My config: Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 (wheezy) Linux 3.6.11+
