With the Extreme Edition of #omatetruesmart  already running google services flawlessly I installed the kitkat launcher from XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2506488

Initially search will crash, update google services and google search from the play store and google search no longer crashes and you have the kitkat experience on the #truesmart  

Then install swipe status bar to get the status bar back: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.chladek.swipe_status_bar&hl=en

Swype keyboard has been the best keyboard I've used on it so far, works great and has the simple voice to text feature that is using Nuance (same company)

On a side note, awesome having Google Authenticator on my wrist! Also connected bluetooth stereo headphones, playing music from tiny shark: http://exigocs.com/ which lets you connect to grooveshark for free to stream / cache any song, great set-up for running!
