Build your own UBUNTU elastic cloud!

Canonical® is doing an excellent job building up huge clouds for enterprises around the globe, offering 24/7/365,25 service, maintenance, updates, "hands on" contracts, building new software, e.g. LXD, JUJU, ...

And they, indeed, did document everything, so that you are able to build your own cloud from cheap $35 Raspberry Pi 2 bricks: Quad core, 1 GByte RAM, 100 MBit. Everything is there and - "ultra cheap"!

My recommendation: Use SanDisk SDSDQXL-032G-GA4A MicroSD exclusively. Fast, reliable, 10 years warranty. With F2FS filesystem on work partition!!! Much faster at sequential writes. Use IPFS, CSYNC2, XtreemFS or SeaweedFS as clustering filesystem. Cloud software: FREEHOLD: https://youtu.be/gXYrb3ChSLs

With NginX or OpenRESTY, you can easily serve 6500 dynamic web pages per second: https://www.jeremymorgan.com/blog/programming/raspberry-pi-web-server-comparison/

Have fun!
